Come, let us bow down and worship Him; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. He is our God; we are the people He cares for, the flock for which He provides. Psalm 95:6-7a TLB
An active effort to close the gap between one’s heart and the God it adores is worship at its best (Note 1). Let your day begin with a few silent moments focused on the majesty, goodness, and faithfulness of God. Listen for His whispers in the silence (Note 2).
#OnWorship
Note 1: We are in a series on worship. About recognizing that the Church is not peripheral to the world, that the world is peripheral to the Church. Jesus at the center of it all. About what worship looks like from that Worldview. About offering the totality of our lives as an act of worship to a loving, majestic, and faithful God.
Note 2: How to know if it is God speaking; see here
