There are two ways to die.

The first is to be welcomed into God’s presence for eternity (Note 1): “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15

That is one way. The other way is to “die in your sins.” John 8:21, 24 If you die in your sins you go to hell for all eternity. But, because Christ cares about the lost, He says, today “come follow Me because not only will I satisfy your soul, I will cleanse it.”

Note 1: For believers, death is simply the transition from faith to sight. It is closing your eyes to this life and opening them to the face of Jesus.
