Note 1: The Greek word for worship is proskuneo. It means to prostrate oneself in homage, to bow down or lie prostrate on the ground with the idea of kissing the ground before someone. The term conveys a deep sense of reverence, adoration, and submission to a higher authority; the complete abandonment or coming to the end of one’s self.
