What do you put your confidence in? What is the ultimate source of power that you think has the most control in and over your life? Maybe it’s your wealth. Or your family. Maybe it’s even yourself.

Scripture sets out a clear answer to the true source of ultimate power. Over and over the Bible points to the truth that God is sovereign. His sovereignty means He is the greatest force in the universe. He sees everything. He understands it all. He stitches together generations and millennia and galaxies and time into a story of His love and grace. He is omniscient of past, present, and future. There is nothing you can say or do that will surprise the Almighty.

God is not only ultimate in knowledge and power. He is also ultimate in love. His love invades and conquers every darkness. There is no place His love can’t reach. And today, the omniscient God above all offers His limitless love to you. Place your confidence in the God of the universe, and trust His loving plan for your life will come to pass.
