A Prayer Of Penitence

O Lord Of Grace, I have been hasty and short in private prayer. This first sin of my day leads to others. It would be just that You would withdraw Your presence from one who waited so carelessly on You. Quicken my conscience to feel this folly, to mourn this ingratitude. Keep me at all times from robbing You, and from depriving my soul of worship and fellowship with You. Let me never forget that I have an eternal duty to love, honor and obey You. And that You are infinitely worthy of such worship.
