God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. We love each other because He loved us first. If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? 1 John 4

The one who does not love does not know God. God is love. And when He takes up residence in your heart it becomes a reality you can taste. If you do not love the people of God, you are not born of God.

Want to convince the world around you of the power of God? Then love someone who is, naturally speaking, unlovable to you. And give the glory to God for the power He is working in and through you to love them like Christ loves you.
