I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:9

Repentance, noun: a biblical concept; not just feeling sorry or changing one’s mind, but of a complete turning around; an alteration of the basic motivation and direction of one’s life. Repentance means acknowledging that one has no possible claim upon God, and surrendering oneself to His mercy without reservation, excuse, or attempted justification.

A repentance action plan:

1. Acknowledge failings (sin).

2. Redirect your path.

3. Turn to God.
