I Am The Man

One of the twelve disciples, Thomas called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” Thomas said to them, “Unless I see the scars of the nails in His hands and put my finger on those scars and my hand in His side, I will not believe.”

A week later the disciples were together again indoors, and Thomas was with them. The doors were locked, but Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then He said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at My hands; then reach out your hand and put it in My side. Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” And Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen Me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20:24-29 GNT, Adapted

I Am The Man, Thomas

They drove me up the hill, Thomas. I am the man.
They made me carry the cross, Thomas. I am the man.
I am the man, Thomas. I am the man.
Look at these nail scars here in my hand.

They crowned my head with thorns, Thomas. I am the man.
They nailed me to the cross, Thomas. I am the man.
I am the man, Thomas. I am the man.
Look at these nail scars here in my hand.

They pierced me in the side, Thomas. I am the man.
And I died on the cross, Thomas. I am the man.
I am the man, Thomas. I am the man.
Look at these nail scars here in my hand.

They laid me in that tomb, Thomas. I am the man.
In three days I rose, Thomas. I am the man.
I am the man, Thomas. I am the man.
Look at these nail scars here in my hand.

I am the man, Thomas. I am the man.
Look at these nail scars here in my hand.
