Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you’re making a bold claim with your life. You are saying that you are a new creation.
But you mustn’t stop there. You have to live it out. It’s one thing to believe in Jesus, to acknowledge that He is God and that you are His beloved child. It is quite another thing to back up your belief by living out those realities. To put your money where your mouth is.

If you’re truly living in light of your new identity, then your life will change, and you will gravitate toward that change in conjunction with the power of the Holy Spirit working inside you. By grace, you deliberately walk in that new direction with your mind and heart completely and totally fixed on Him.

Application: How can I move from intention to action and live out my faith in Jesus today?

Prayer: God, show me the things I need to surrender and the ways I can align my heart with Yours today. Guide me and sustain my pursuit of You.
