God’s Word: “The one who rejects Me and does not accept My teachings has one who judges him: the Word which I spoke. That will judge him on the last day.” Jesus, as recorded in the Gospel of John 12:48 NASB 2020

Explication: God loves to save sinners. It is, after all, the reason He gave us the gift of Jesus. In the salvation equation God and man both have responsibilities. God’s role is to extend the gift of salvation and faith. Man’s role is to overcome his sinful nature and accept God’s gift. In this passage from John, Jesus is speaking to the Israelites who, despite witnessing His ministry and miracles, have rejected Jesus. Jesus tells them that this rejection will be the evidence that condemns them on the day of judgment.

Application: If you reject Jesus Christ, on the day of judgment every single ounce of truth you have ever been exposed to is going to rise up and condemn you.
