There is the (subjective) peace of the world. And there is the (objective) peace of Yahweh Shalom (God is Peace, Judges 6:24).

Want the peace that surpasses all comprehension? That no matter what, you can say “it is well with my Soul?” The formula is quite clear: For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7 KJV). He will keep in perfect peace all those who trust in Him, whose thoughts turn often to the Lord (Isaiah 26:3 TLB).

The sum and substance of the Christian life is where you place your mind. You are what you think about. What you dwell upon.
