The Holy Spirit empowers ordinary, available believers who yield to Him. Peter and John became vessels for what they could never do on their own. The Holy Spirit isn’t looking for extraordinary people. He’s looking for anybody who would say to Him, “Fill me and do through me things that I cannot do on my own.”
