You thought that I was altogether like you. Psalm 50:21 NKJV

“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us. The greatness of God rouses fear within us, but His goodness encourages us not to be afraid of Him. To fear and not be afraid – that is the paradox of faith. The history of mankind will doubtless show that no people has ever risen above its religion. And man’s spiritual history will undeniably demonstrate that no religion has ever been greater than its idea of God.” Adapted, The Knowledge of the Holy, A. W. Tozer (1897 – 1963)
