A Case Study

Jun 28, 2020

The news these days is filled with reports about Black Lives Matter. Notice the upper case. This denotes a proper noun, which represents a radical Neo-Marxist organization intent on destroying the freedom and faith based societies that comprise Western Civilization, including, but not limited to, the United States of America. We also see reference to BLM; again upper case indicating the movement and riot-fueled lawlessness. Putting a hashtag and using all lower case (#blacklivesmatter) is also punctuation that connotes the hatred espoused by advocates of BLM.

In contrast all people will agree that black lives matter. In the lower case usage, care must be taken to understand that this is entirely different from BLM. In the lower case, it is a simple statement that confirms that the lives of black people are equally important and worthy of the rights bestowed by God, which rights were affirmed by the Founding Fathers and are enshrined in the United States Constitution. This case is in alignment with the Gospel taught and exercised by Christianity. We cannot possibly love our neighbors as ourselves if we do not wholeheartedly accept that black lives matter. The same applies to all peoples of all ethnicities. Racism is wrong and it is not Biblical.

Those with a decent education will see the conclusion of this case study. We can fully reject Black Lives Matter, while at the same time respect and honor that black lives matter.
