Perhaps the single greatest mystery in Creation is what Heaven will be like. Of one thing we can be unshakably certain. It is a place of unbound joy where we will live in intimate and everlasting fellowship with God. Joy in every circumstance. Joy in all things.

“And God shall wipe away every tear from our eyes, and death shall not be any more, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain, for the former things shall have have passed away.” Revelation 21:4

We serve a joyful King. He is the creator of fun and the giver of abundant life. And there is no greater joy this side of Heaven than living in the fullness of a relationship with Jesus Christ.

To live for Heaven is to throw off whatever weight would entangle us to the sin of this world and to seek the sustaining joy that pours out from Heaven to fill our hearts. Take time in prayer today to throw off whatever is keeping you from experiencing the serious business of Heaven. Abide in His presence. Search out His heart. And feel His electrifying joy.
