Contentment

Contentment, n: a state of mind in which one’s desires are confined to his/her lot whatever it may be; an inner peace resulting from humility, and from an understanding of the basic goodness of God’s plan, the greatness of His promises, our own unworthiness, and of the knowledge that we have eternal life through Jesus Christ. Contentment is the opposite of envy, greed, pride, anxiety, and fretful complaining.

Contentment[1], n: a state of mind in which one’s desires are confined to his/her lot whatever it may be[2];
an inner peace resulting from humility, and from an understanding of the basic goodness of God’s plan[3],

Contentment is the opposite of envy[7], greed[8], pride[9], anxiety[10], and fretful complaining[11].
