The Fruit of the Spirit is evidence of God’s conforming us to the image of Christ. Herewith a compendium:

1. Affection for others (love);
2. Exuberance about life (joy);
3. Serenity (peace);
4. Willingness to stick with things (longsuffering);
5. Sense of compassion (gentleness);
6. A conviction that a basic holiness permeates all things and people (goodness);
7. Loyal commitments (faith);
8. Not needing to force our way (meekness);
9. Able to marshal and direct our energies wisely (temperancy).
