My job isn’t to fix another person or make them see my side of things during a conflict. Even when I feel justified to be mean, I have an opportunity to obey God by offering an extension of the forgiveness I’ve been given. Selah

Forgiveness is not pretending like it didn’t happen or like it didn’t hurt. That’s called lying. Forgiveness is a decision to release a debt regardless of how you feel. @drtonyevans

A question for those who say they have forgiven so-and-so, and then recite a list of the transgressions that the forgiveness covers: Do they have a similar list of the transgressions of which God has forgiven them?
