God will never speak to us and tell us to do something that’s contrary to His Word. But, unless we know Scripture, we won’t be able to discern whether or not what we hear is consistent with His Word. We know the will of God when we read and pray the Word of God....

When an ungodly man disagrees with the Word of God (AKA the Bible), he believes he is right and the Bible is wrong. When a godly man differs with the Bible he thinks the Bible is right and he is wrong.
